SUMMARY:

Performs administrative and accounting duties as assigned in support of the Company.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answers phones and directs calls
  • Purchases consumable materials and various office and shop supplies
  • Assists in basic accounting duties such as performing credit verifications, processing payments, sending invoices, etc.
  • Two way invoice matching (PO and Pack slip)
  • Communicates and provides information to external accountants
  • Vendor and customer setup in QuickBooks including w-9, tax reseller permits
  • Data entry and records maintenance
  • Filing
  • Ensures quality of all incoming & outgoing assignments
  • Performs other accounting duties as assigned when needed

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree (preferred)
  • Previous experience in finance and/or accounting
  • Excellent Excel experience desired
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Solid documentation, organization, and record keeping abilities
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills to internal staff, visitors and external customers
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work assignments
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines under pressure
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral in English
  • Demonstrates team oriented mind set
  • Flexible personality that can move between departments/job functions as needed
